Role Overview
As our Assembly Workshop Manager, you will lead and supervise the complete assembly line operations within our Dubai-based team, fully onsite. If you have expertise in microelectronics and a passion for managing people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end operation of the assembly workshop, ensuring all output meets quality and productivity standards.
- Direct, motivate, and guide a team of assembly staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to integrate improvements into the assembly process.
- Implement best practices for microelectronics assembly and lead training initiatives for workshop personnel.
- Monitor resource allocation, production scheduling, and workflow optimization to deliver on targets.
- Analyze operational issues and proactively resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the workshop environment.
Must have requirements
- Currently located in Dubai.
- Proven work experience managing an assembly line or workshop, preferably in a microelectronics setting.
- Exceptional people management and leadership abilities.
- Strong understanding of microelectronics assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience working in a high-volume, automated assembly plant.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-standard regulatory and quality requirements.
- Exposure to cross-functional team management and multicultural environments.
